Italian Wine and Cicchetti
When they want a bite, Italians head to their favourite bacaro for Cicchetti, the Venetian version of tapas.
This evening, we'll take you on a tour of Italy with freshly prepared Cicchetti and a range of local Northern Italian wines.
During the evening we'll share the principles of food and wine pairing and explain what makes an amazing combination.
You will enjoy a selection of specially prepared hot and cold Cicchetti all served with a recommended wine pairing, to include some of the following...prosciutto, mozzarella, salami, olives, bruschetta and ragu alongside a typical Italian Spritz, Prosecco, Pinot Grigio, Ripasso and a delicious Italian Recioto dessert wine.
